An experimental animation that originated as a technical test of the Delay Expression in Adobe After Effects. As I pushed the setup further, it evolved into a playful exploration of timing, motion, and procedural animation systems.

This experimentation eventually led to the creation of the “Hangry Caterpillar” character—transforming a simple motion design test into a fully realised animated piece driven by curiosity and iteration.

The project explores procedural animation techniques, timing offsets, and expressive motion design, showcasing how technical experiments can evolve into character-driven storytelling.
