Hank The Cowboy

A personal animation project that evolved from an initial sketch into a finished 2D animated film through illustration, storyboarding, and animatic development. What began as a simple creative exercise gradually became a fully realised visual storytelling piece, exploring atmosphere, pacing, and cinematic composition.

The project focuses on handcrafted textures, stylised illustration, and expressive motion design to create a nostalgic, old-school aesthetic. It served as an opportunity to experiment with animation techniques, visual development, and art direction while refining a distinctive creative style.
