Floating by the stars is a short immersive looping animation created during New Zealand’s first COVID-19 lockdown. The piece explores solitude, stillness, and escapism through a simple yet atmospheric visual journey through space.

Developed as a personal experiment in mood, pacing, and visual storytelling, the animation combines stylised motion design, subtle animation loops, and atmospheric composition to create a calm, dreamlike experience.
