Department of conservation
Commissioned to create a large-scale ambient animation for the Department of Conservation Annual Conference at Te Papa, New Zealand’s national museum, I designed a five-minute looping animation for a three-projector installation.
Working closely with cultural advisors, we drew inspiration from New Zealand’s native birds, landscapes, and traditional Māori weaving patterns to create an immersive visual experience. Alongside the main looping animation, I also developed the conference intro, outro, and additional looping motion graphics, delivering a cohesive animated installation that complemented the event environment.
