In 2023, I was asked to lead the animation segments on the documentary Warrior Spirit by Coextinction and CBC.

The film follows Will George as he fights to protect his Nation from the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion project, facing potential prison time within a discriminatory legal system.

The animated sequences I worked on were divided into three very distinct styles. A paper-illustrated approach was used for the Warrior sequences, a silhouetted vector style for the trial scenes, and a painted illustration aesthetic for the Gladue report.
